About the Book

I am delighted to present this practical collection of cross-stitch project cards.  A lovely compilation of exciting ideas to stitch for family & friends or for yourself. I have grouped the cards so each design can be worked individually or as part of a set. Using a limited color palette and very little backstitch, the patterns are easy to follow. The cards themselves are practical to use, being of a small size.

 

I have tried to generate a very vintage feel to this collection, using silhouettes and old fashioned sewing patterns to create the figurative charts. (I can't see this in the examples.)

 

Some of the cards use flowers as inspiration, generating beautiful postcard-style designs. There are also classic wedding and baby birth designs, using clean, soft colors throughout, forming an attractive collections of charts.
